WSVG 790am is a 24 hour a day, 1,000 watt radio station
located in Mount Jackson, VA right in the middle of the
Shenandoah Valley. The current owners; Patty Shaffer and
Alan Arehart bought 790am in 2005 and first went live on the
air in May of that year.
WSVG features nostalgic music and old time radio programs
such as When Radio Was. Our Sunday morning programs
consists of local churches as well as national programs.
We also air local baseball, football, and basketball games and
do live remotes from various locations throughout the Valley.
